Pattie:
Pattie was elected Register of Deeds and took
office January 6,2003. She was deputy in the Register of Deeds
office, Treasures office, and also part-time in a local abstract
company, before that. She is a life long resident of Florence
County. She is an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. She
is married and has two grown children and one grandchild.

About the Register of Deeds office:
The Office of Register of Deeds is located in the
new part of the Court House, next to the Treasures Office. The
records in the office date back to 1881 when Florence became a
county. We also serve as the surveyors office. The Register of
Deeds Office is in the process of trying to get an imaging system,
to better serve the public and archive our records. |

Florence
County:
Florence County is located in the northeast
corner of Wisconsin. The county has 265 lakes and 165 miles of
rivers. Fishing, canoeing and kayaking are very popular, along
with hunting and camping. We also boast of one of Wisconsin's most
unique ecosystems, the Spread Eagle Barrens. |
