About the Register of Deeds office:
The Oneida County Register of Deeds has four full time deputies in
addition to himself. The Register of Deeds implemented a
computerized tract index and imaging system in 1997. Microfiche
images of real estate recordings have been back-scanned through
1985 to provide efficient access. Because of so many summer
cottages on the numerous lakes in the county, Oneida has nearly
60,000 tax parcels and there is a large influx of activity every
summer. Efforts are being made to get the tax assessment
information available on the county website. |
