 About Cynthia:
Cindy Wisinski was elected to the Register of Deeds
position in 1997, however has been employed by Portage County and
has worked in the Register of Deeds/Land Description office since
1986. Cindy has four children. She is currently serving on the
board of the Wisconsin Register of Deeds Association and is
actively involved in the Wisconsin Real Property Listers
Association; Portage County Democratic Party; Portage County
Leadership Program and is a member of the Wisconsin Land
Information Association. Cindy enjoys working out at the gym and
spending quality time with her family. |

About the Register of Deeds office: The
Register of Deeds and Land Description office is one department in
Portage County. It is comprised of five full time employees and
one half time employee. The Register of Deeds is very proactive on
instituting the use of new technology that will benefit the
constituents in the most cost effective and efficient manor. This
is essential due to the overwhelming increase in work load and the
budget constraints that each county is encountering. |
