 About Judith:
Judith Chizek has been the Price County Register of
Deeds since 1986. She is a life-long resident of the county.
Judith received her B.A. from UW-Eau Claire in social work. Judith
serves as the Land Information Officer in her county and she is
active in her community. |

About the Register of Deeds office: The
Price County Register of Deeds has one full time deputy, plus she
has responsibility for the county staff person who is the county
real property lister and cartographer. A computerized tract index
and imaging system was installed in March of 2003. Both staff and
customers appreciate this user-friendly system that provides more
efficient processing and access to real estate records and images.
A project to computerize the vital records indexes is progress.
All birth and marriage indexes are computerized and the death
record index will be completed this year. |
