About the Register of Deeds office The Rock County Register of Deeds office has entered into the realm of electronic Recording. Electronic Recording (E-recording) is the trend of the future with respect to the manner in which our office will conduct business.  Cost savings and efficiencies are driving wider acceptance of this technology by both local government and the financial industry.  E-recording will allow our office the transition from a labor intensive, manual system to an automated system for recording documents over time.
