Paula: Paula was elected Sawyer County
Register of Deeds in January 2001. Prior to being elected, she had
11 successful years in the real estate industry, and another 6 years
working for two NBC affiliates, WEAU TV in Eau Claire, and KARE TV
in Minneapolis. She is a life long resident of Hayward and enjoys year round activities. Some of her favorites are hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, boating and spending time with her son. |

About the Register of Deeds office:
On May 20, 1999, Sawyer County implemented a computerized
document imagining and tracking system. Documents are scanned and
stored on optical discs. We are in the process of
back-scanning and indexing our paper documents. All Certified Survey
Maps are computerized. Our vital record requests and requests for copies of documents are processed the same day that we receive them. |
