About Konna:  Konna was elected to the Office of Register of Deeds in January 2005. Prior to becoming Register, she worked for Vernon County for 18 1/2 years with the majority in the Treasurer's Office. Konna is a member of the Wisconsin Register of Deeds Association and currently serves on the Public Relations Committee and the Sunshine Committee. In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading and scrapbooking.

About the Register of Deeds office:  Our Office is completely computerized with the computerized tract index beginning approximately January 2000. We have been scanning the real estate documents since 1997 and continue to work on the back years. We have 2 public computers in the office and recently have added the ability to search our records online. Including myself, we have 3 full time and 1 part time staff.
