About Washington County:  Washington County, with more than 123,000 residents, is one of the fastest growing Wisconsin counties, strategically located between Milwaukee and the Fox River Valley cities to the north. The area is home to historic landmark buildings including Holy Hill-National Shrine of Mary near the Ice Age Trail and the Old Courthouse in West Bend's cultural district, as well as two modern college campuses-University of Wisconsin-Washington County and Moraine Park Technical College-West Bend. Agriculture related business, manufacturing and printing, information technology and data processing, and finance and insurance are strengths and focal points for continued development.
