About the Register of Deeds office:
The Wood County Register of Deeds has four full time staff and
one part time staff person. Their computerized tract index and
imaging system was established January 1, 2000. Laredo online
service is offered to title companies and other frequent customers
and Tapestry online service is available for occasional customers.
Over 25,000 real estate documents were recorded in 2003, an all time
high for the office. Customers can use major credit cards for an
extra fee to obtain certified copies of birth, death and marriage
records. |
