Federal officials from the U.S. Department of State have announced that due to Homeland Security provisions, U.S. citizens will soon be required to produce passports for re-entry into the United States from countries that formerly only required a birth certificate.  The Governor’s Electronic Recording Council - Wisconsin today (May 6) announced that those involved with real estate transactions in Wisconsin will now be able to electronically record documents, moving Wisconsin into the forefront of electronic real estate commerce.
