The Wisconsin Register of Deeds Association (WRDA) recently received a Certificate of Commendation signed by Governor Jim Doyle.

The commendation was presented by Jim Pahl-Washa, Division of Technology Services, SLF Section Chief, of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) at the annual Wisconsin County Constitutional Officers Conference in Madison on March 2, 2010. The commendation reads: In recognition and appreciation for your partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue to advance electronic recording of real estate transfer return documents and web service. The strong, ongoing partnership between the DOR and the WRDA facilitates innovation through state and local government partnerships. Our partnership serves as a beacon, a model for state and local government collaboration. The DOR looks forward to continuing to deliver e-service advancements in partnership with WRDA. The ultimate beneficiaries of our partnership are the businesses and residents of Wisconsin.
