Adams County - Julie Schnolis
Gov. Tony Evers has appointed Julie Schnolis to serve as Adams County register of deeds. The appointment fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Jodi Helgeson, effective Jan. 13. Schnolis will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends on Jan. 5, 2025.
Schnolis is an Adams County native and a graduate of Adams-Friendship High School. She has served as the deputy register of deeds in Adams County since 2015.

The office has two full time staff members in addition to the Registrar.
Adams County has land records dating back to the 1850’s. Most documents are available online from 1979 forward and we are continually back indexing documents prior to that time.
