Documents are recorded and imaged utilizing RecordEASE. Currently the computerized tract index goes back to 1995. Grantor/Grantee goes back to 1963. We are continually back indexing documents prior to that time. Digital images are available for most documents going back to the 1800’s.
Our land records are available for searching online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via RecordEASE, with the ability to purchase images using a credit card, establishing an escrow account or by subscription.
To protect against property and mortgage fraud, the Waupaca County Register of Deeds Office provides Property Watch, a free notification service to alert property owners of possible fraud.
As of January 1, 2017 you can obtain most vital records statewide including birth, marriage, death and divorce certificates. Please see our website for dates of availability.
