About the Register of Deeds Office
In addition to Jeanine there is one full time deputy in the office. Burnett County has land records dating back to the 1800’s. Most documents are available online from 1948 forward and we are continually back indexing documents prior to that time. Burnett County has a land records program that you can search documents on-line, through Laredo or Tapestry. As of January 3, 2017 copies of birth records for people born throughout the state of Wisconsin may be obtained at any county Register of Deeds Office in Wisconsin.
