Jefferson County - Staci M Hoffman
Staci has been Register since January 2007. She was appointed by the Governor to the Wisconsin Electronic Recording Council and the Wisconsin Historical Records Advisory Board. She was also appointed to the Wisconsin Counties Association Board of Directors in 2014.
Staci received an Associate Degree in Accounting from Madison College and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Certified Public Mangers Program. She is Past President of the Wisconsin Register of Deeds Association (WRDA). She has served on several WRDA committees including, District Chair, Legislative, Resolutions, Audit, Nominating, Archives & Backup, E-Directory, E-Record and as WCA Liaison. Staci is also a member of the Jefferson County Land Records Council, Wisconsin County Constitutional Officers Association and Property Records Industry Association.
Staci has worked for Jefferson County since 1997, two years as a Child Support accountant and eight years as Chief Deputy Treasurer before becoming Register.
Staci is an active member of the Optimist Club of Jefferson, serving as their treasurer and was awarded the Optimist of the Year in 2007 and 2014. She also volunteers and helps with many community events and organizations.

Jefferson County is located along the I-94 corridor situated between Milwaukee and Madison, it is a great place to live, work and play.
All real estate documents received by 3:30 pm will be recorded that day and mailed back in two business days; consider electronically recording your documents to receive your document back within the hour.
We offer online searching for real estate records 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Two different programs are available via our website, Laredo, a subscription based service and Tapestry for the occasional user.
To protect against property and mortgage fraud, the Jefferson County Register of Deeds Office provides Property Fraud Alert, a notification service to alert the homeowner of possible fraud.
