Gov. Tony Evers announced his appointment of Brenda Sue Mayr to serve as Langlade County Register of Deeds.
“With notable experience serving the people of Langlade County, Brenda is well-prepared to take on the role of register of deeds,” said Gov. Evers.
Mayr has been a resident of Antigo for over 22 years.
“I am extremely honored to accept the appointment of Langlade County Register of Deeds by Gov. Evers,” said Mayr. “I truly appreciate his confidence in me and look forward to serving the citizens of Langlade County in this capacity. I have had the privilege of serving as the Langlade County register in probate for several years and look forward to providing continued exceptional public service in this new role. I would like to thank my family, friends, and colleagues within Langlade County for their continued support and encouragement.”

About the Register of Deeds Office
The office is staffed by myself as the Register and Ms. Kelly Novak who serves as my only deputy. We strive to provide you with the statutorily mandated services in an efficient and courteous manner.
We are a small two person office that handles approximately 4000+ documents submitted for recording annually. We also manage request for all Vital Records events (Birth, Death, & Marriage) which average approximately 1200 yearly.
